Link-Belt® Tritor screens are the only mechanical means for removing both screenings and grit or detritus with one machine.
This efficient unit has replaced separate, mechanically cleaned screens and grit chambers in many small and medium-size plants, reducing both cost and space requirements. A timing device automatically controls operating cycles, however, the unit can be operated for single cycles or continuously via a push-button control.
Features and Benefits
- Two adjustable baffles provide velocity control for minimum flows.
- Perforated buckets remove grit from the sump.
- A front-mounted rake on each bucket cleans the bar screen.
- Bucket travel is downward to eliminate possible jamming due to heavy or waterlogged material at the base of the screen.
- Bucket teeth engage the screen above the waterline, cleaning the bars as they descend; then continue their travel and clean the sump.
