REX Type C & B Grit Collector
Rex® Type C & B Grit Collector

This Rex® design can be used in plants with flows up to 40 MGD and grit chambers shallow or deep. The high capacity V-type buckets have end drains and are mounted on two strands of chain. The chain and bucket conveyor scrapes the grit toward the influent end of the chamber and elevates the grit to a discharge point were it is deposited into a SW GRIT WASHER, onto a conveyor, or into a truck.

The Type C & B Grit Collector can also be designed with the Gritreat System. This is a system that aerates the grit chamber. The Rex Gritreat assures positive flow control for predictable grit quantity and quality.
